10:00 - 11:00 am: (1.0 CLE Hour) The 2020 Election—Is It Over Yet? Roby Brock and John Brummett will discuss the election results of the much anticipated 2020 election. Roby and John will take a deep dive into the federal, state and local races of the 2020 election.
12:00 - 1:00 pm: (1.0 CLE Hour) Conflicted: The Perils of Amending an Arkansas Code Section Multiple Times in a Legislative Session Matthew Miller with the Bureau of Legislative Research with discuss the perils of amending an Arkansas code section multiple times in a legislative session. Matthew will address what happens when two acts amend the same statute in conflicting ways.
2:00 - 3:00 pm: (1.0 CLE Hour) 2021 Legislative Preview John Vines will moderate a legislative panel featuring Speaker of the House Matthew Shepherd. Speaker Shepherd will be joined by a couple of his colleagues in the House and Senate to provide a preview of what to expect during the upcoming 2021 legislative session.
